We are delighted to welcome Martijn Pieters as BESA’s newest Mechanical Engineer. With his technical background and passion for technology, he fits well within the team. We have come to know him so far as a calm and honest man with strong technical problem solving skills. We wish him every success with all innovative projects. He introduces himself below.

My name is Martijn Pieters, I am 34 years old and live with my girlfriend (and dog) in the beautiful Vlagtwedde. In 2016 I received my HBO degree in mechanical engineering at Stenden Hogeschool in Emmen. From that moment on, I have been able to work for many companies on the basis of secondment. The last few years I started to delve into the piping industry and have been able to work on a few nice projects. An example of this is sarpi-veolia in Almelo. For this project we were responsible for the new design of a tank park and the modification of an existing part for chemical waste processing. Another good example is Green Create in Wijster. For this project we were responsible for the complete design of a biogas installation. I’ve been working at BESA for two months now and I’m working on a few interesting projects and time flies by. My motto:
โMen remain children, only the toys become more expensive!โ
