Assigment BESA for FrieslandCampina Nigeria
On behalf of FrieslandCampina we are working on an assignment for a new plant called ‘Ikorodu’ which is located in Nigeria. The assignment includes the following components:
- General check process of equipment, production lines and utilities.
- PID check and converting them to ‘smart’ PID FrieslandCampina standard
- 3D scanning of buildings on the inside and outside
- 3D scanning of equipment and piping
BESA facilitated the support of the project management and the 3D laserscanner. We commenced the start up of the project with the assistance of local FrieslandCampina personnel. This included a short training how to operate our 3D laserscanner. Subsequently, the work was started. Over a 4-week period the data was retrieved and send to our office in The Netherlands. While local personnel were still operating the 3D laserscanner, the first results were already being produced by our own engineers. The deliverables to our client include a full-scale 3D model and
intelligent ‘smart’ PID’s based on the FrieslandCampina standard. This will serve as a
base for the current operation and for future projects.
