We engineered a sorting disc and gear for a customer in the paint and adhesive industry. The company suddenly received more demand for smaller sizes of their glue bottles. We scanned the existing sorting disc and gear in 3D and then adapted it to a smaller bottle size. We then started looking for a specialist in plastics to have the products made.
The challenge here was the exchange of the sorting disc with the existing installation in combination with the material to be used. In the event of leakage, the adhesive should not adhere to the material. In the photos you can see how this sorting disc and gear are placed in the production line.
