Today the second part of the pilot course Piping Design 1 in collaboration with PPV. This course is offered to the students, because little or no attention is paid to it during the mechanical engineering course. During our work it is important that there is a good basic knowledge of the Piping profession.
In the second part of the course we talk about Basic Engineering, in which we have paid attention to: Piping Design, PFD/PID, Utilities, AUXILIARIES, pipes, connections, valves, instrumentation and pumps.
Prior to this morning, all students received homework to put the theory of part one into practice. We also had a guest speaker Asjin Gritter from Verder Pompen who gave us a basic explanation about pumping. He is product manager Hygienic PD pumps. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him very much for his clear explanation. We hope that all students had an educational morning!
