Today the fourth and last part of the pilot course Piping Design 1 in collaboration with PPV. This course is offered to the students, because little or no attention is paid to it during the mechanical engineering course. During our work it is important that there is a good basic knowledge of the Piping profession.
In the fourth and final part of the course we talked about all other Engineering. All students have again received homework prior to this morning to apply the theory of the previous parts in practice.
In addition, we had a guest speaker Grietus Aalderink who took us into the matter of materials science, welded connections and various types of corrosion, including the iron carbon and Schaeffer diagram, various types of steel and alloys were discussed. On the basis of practical examples, the students were provided with extra baggage. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him very much for his clear explanation and practical examples. We hope that all students had an educational morning!
