Today the fourth and final part of the pilot course Piping Design 1 in collaboration with PPV. This course is offered to the students, because little or no attention is paid to this during the mechanical engineering course. During our work it is important that there is a good basic knowledge for the Piping profession.
In the fourth and final part of the course we talked about all other Engineering. All students have again been given homework prior to this morning to apply the theory of the previous parts in practice.
In addition, we had a guest speaker Grietus Aalderink who took us through the matter of materials science, welded joints and various corrosion types, including the iron carbon and planing diagram, different steel types and alloys were discussed. On the basis of practical examples, the students were provided with extra baggage.
In this way we would like to thank Grietus very much for his clear explanation and practical examples. We hope that all students had an instructive morning!
